We have a great slate of fights coming from the UFC tonight what is better than watching the fights well having a few drinks and watching the money roll in. With that in mind, these are my top bets for this slate.
Daniel Pineda – 160 – Cub is on his way out he just is not the same fighter that he used to be. On top of that Cub has struggled against fighters who are good with subs which Pineda has 18 total wins by. Cub has seven total losses coming from subs. I believe that Pineda will be able to eventually get the fight down to the ground and when he does sink in the sub for the win. On top of this Cub has been dealing with hurt knees and Pineda has been known to throw a lot of kicks which could help him as well. If you are feeling extra froggy I don’t think Pineda to win via submission at +240 is the worse bet in the world either may wanna sprinkle a little on that.
Junior Dos Santos +325 – I know that this one is a big stretch so I would for sure not go crazy on it I just think there is too much value for Junior at +325. Yes, he has not looked great as of late but if you look at his losses they have all been against the best of the best. Well UFC is building Gane up to become the best of the best I just feel that it may be a little bit too much too soon for him.
Kevin Holland -110 – Souza just like Cub I feel is on the way out. Now yes, his losses have been against some of the best of the best recently but I feel that Holland is starting to make his way up to that level. I feel like Holland will be a lot faster than Souza and will be able to pick him apart on the feet till he gets the eventual finish.
Mackenzie Dern -185 – I hear a lot of talk that Virna could get the upset here I personally just don’t see it. I think on the feet Dern is the much better striker Virna only lands 1.22 strikes per minute. I also think that Dern is a lot stronger than Virna which will allow her to control the fight when it gets to the ground or up against the cage. Both fighters are great submission fighters so anything can happen I just think that Dern is far and away the better fighter in this fight and will get the victory.
Tony Ferguson -175 – The big question here is how will Ferguson come back after his first loss in forever especially after he lost in such a brutal manner. I personally think that Ferguson will come back just fine at the end of the day he had one bad fight but before that, he was one of the best fighters in the UFC. His opponent Olievira well he has been on a good run as of late the quality of fighters he has fought just has not been on the same level as Ferguson. On top of that Olievira’s biggest weapon is his submission game Ferguson has not been submitted in over ten years. I just think Ferguson will be too much for him and we will see the old Tony come back in this one.
Parlay of the day
Figueiredo/Hooper/Torres fight over 2.5 rounds – These three should get you right around even money and it is very likely that all three hit.
